Alison Graham’s degree in biomechanics combined with her years of experience in sport and fitness enables her to provide expert pain assessment and treatment for youths, adults and seniors.
A registered massage therapist who has been practicing in Ottawa since 1995, Alison earned her degree at the University of Ottawa, graduating with a B.Sc. in Health Sciences (Kinanthropology). She also holds a certificate in Level 2 Craniosacral Therapy, a treatment for people of all ages that is used to relieve stress, migraines, pain, fatigue and TMJ disorders, as well as many other conditions and injuries.
Because muscle pain is often a symptom of an underlying problem, Alison helps her clients by first performing a variety of assessments. These include bio-mechanical analysis, postural alignment, a review of the client’s past injuries, and the balancing of tight short and long muscles.
